1986 Alfa Romeo Spider

The series 3 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider entrusted to Revival Motorworks arrived with severely rotten sills and floor pans but left as a fully restored, road‑ready classic; our team fabricated and fitted new panels, cut out the corroded sections and rebuilt the structural underpinnings before carrying out meticulous metal finishing, prep, priming and a show‑quality paint application. The Spider — known for its twin‑cam engine, lightweight tubular frame and elegant Pininfarina coachwork — benefited from attention to original dimensions and mounting points to preserve handling and chassis integrity, while replacement panels were hand‑shaped to match original profiles and seam locations. Structural welding was followed by corrosion protection, seam‑sealing and stiffening where required, then full high build primer, block‑sanding and a multi‑stage topcoat to reproduce the car’s factory finish; the result is a historically sympathetic restoration that keeps the Spider’s sporting character and open‑top charm intact.
